Within the initiative “365 places in the land of ideas” innovative ideas from across the entire country of Germany are evaluated and the best concepts are presented publically – one concept each day of the year. From a total of about 4.000 submissions the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZI was chosen as one of the 365 selected places.
Fraunhofer IZI has been recognized for two separate concepts. On October the 29th the second innovative concept will be premiered. We would like to invite you cordially to this event.
The goal of the project “Infection Diagnostics with Magnetism” is to develop a simple, smart, easy-to-handle and low-cost diagnostic method. The ultimate vision: life-threatening infections can be diagnosed directly in the ambulance or at the patients’ bedside. This fast and secure on-site-diagnosis makes rapid therapeutic intervention possible increasing the recovery chances for patients.
